Product Description:

The BK4500 is a high-speed Bus Coupler used for back peripheral signals with centralized control. It offers the maximum current supply of 900 mA and solid K-bus current of 1750 mA, thus working steadily even for heavy configurations. The BK4500 is made for modular mounting and can potentially accommodate 64 terminals in the sense of holding potential feed, as well as end terminals, with excellent expandability.

The unit is capable of handling up to 256 digital inputs and outputs, and up to 32 analog inputs and outputs with an adequate number of point connections for a variety of field devices. Operating at a rate of data transfer of 500 KBaud, the BK4500 offers rapid communication between devices and therefore finds application in applications where time plays a critical factor. The module has introduced dielectric strength of 500 Vrms between periphery power supply and K-bus, and between power contact and InterBus incoming signal voltage. Such a level of potential isolation introduces operational safety through effective isolation of different voltage domains in the system. Electrical interference is minimized by such protection to allow stable operation, and it prevents signal degradation. The BK4500 is optimally used in installations where coordination of more than one digital and analog device is to be accomplished through InterBus. Its compactness and high signal handling capacity make it a fit candidate to be used in industrial automation, building management, and machine control.

Expansion through addition of terminals is provided for accommodating future requirement without changing the present configuration. Its robust build satisfies industrial demands for signal integrity, and therefore it is a reliable and extremely extensible interface. The BK4500 enables accurate communication, power management, and signal integrity in a compact, highly integrated form factor with flexible expansion.
