Product Description:

The BK3500 Beckhoff-manufactured PROFIBUS coupler should be used in its original state by ensuring that there are no structural changes. This coupler is an integral component of a bus terminal system. The product comprises 64 bus terminals. This device also supports up to 512 input/output digital peripheral signals and 64 analog peripheral signals. The units inputs and outputs collectively support up to 128 bytes. Its 24 VDC power supply features a -15%/10% tolerance. This coupler is attached to the electronic terminal row without effort to the fieldbus system.

The product-associated operating power is connected through the topmost spring terminals. This device has three recessed spring contacts on the right side. The unit comes with two HP Simplex plugs for the optical fibers. Its connection with the bus terminal is done through gold contacts. This couplers components are checked for proper functioning of its components through a self-test when it is switched on. The product is latched onto a 35 mm rail supporting a locking mechanism. This device depicts eight connections on the top right side for thin or thick wire line connections. The unit showcases an arbitrary installation location. Its digital signals are bit-oriented.

This couplers supply voltage is indicated by two green LEDs. The product needs a restart after a fault is cleared. This devices design facilitates rapid data exchange at the actuator or sensor level. The units optic net fibers incorporate subring topology and a baud rate of 1500 kBaud. It has six switches to set its address. This PROFIBUS coupler supports fieldbus technology.
