Product Description:

The Beckhoff BK2000 is a modular EtherCAT Bus Coupler that can be easily attached to a DIN rail. It is designed to work with digital and analog input/output terminals. It is a part of the BK EtherCAT Bus Couplers series. It is useful for systems that need to control or monitor 64 or more bus terminals. The coupler has an input supply voltage of 24 V with 10% tolerance and is also used for high-speed data transfer with a transmission speed of up to 2.5 M Baud. It only measures approximately 150 grams and can be easily incorporated into small control panels.

The BK2000 Coupler can control and multiplex 256 digital and 128 analog input/output signals, which is convenient when working with multiple connections. It also offers 512-byte bidirectional data transfers, allowing for mass data communication in industrial areas. The coupler features an average input current of 105 mA and can deliver up to 1.75 A via the K-bus, which provides high power to I/O modules. It can work with 10 A input, which makes it ideal for systems that require a high power output. Due to the incorporation of the 500 V isolation between the K-bus and supply voltage, its operation is safe, and connected devices are protected against electric failure.

The BK2000 is designed to operate in a temperature range of 0 degrees - 55 degrees C, which makes it suitable for mostly indoor industrial applications. It has an I/O configuration that is compatible with KS2000 software to ensure that setting up the system and configuration can be done easily. In sum, the Beckhoff BK2000 is a versatile and high-grade solution for modular I/O systems in Ethercat, improving data-sharing speeds, security measures, and expandability.
