It is a compact integrated servo drive that combines a motor, encoder, power electronics, and fieldbus circuitry in one unit to simplify decentralized motion axes in industrial automation. Mounting the device close to the load reduces cabinet wiring while supporting closed-loop positioning through its multi-turn absolute encoder and internal drive controller.
The motor uses a multi-turn absolute encoder with a resolution of 17 bits, allowing fine position feedback over 131,072 discrete steps per revolution. A flange coded F2 (58 mm) matches common machine frames, and the smooth shaft avoids key slots that could trap contaminants.
