The Beckhoff presents AMI8123-3000-1J10 Servo Drive for industrial automation. It delivers performance in a compact, integrated package designed for decentralized motion control. The servo drive delivers 18 A peak current. It has a torque constant of 0.125 Nm/A to ensure precise management of torque.
The AMI8123-3000-1J10 Servo Drive achieves a standstill torque of 1.0 Nm to make it reliable for holding tasks. The architecture removes the reliance on external control cabinets because both the drive and motor are integrated. EtherCAT with DS402 profile support enables simple integration into today’s advanced control systems, keeping system complexity down. The compact drive, at only 2.05 kg, is effortless to handle and install and thus suited for crowded installation settings. The AMI8123-3000-1J10 Servo Drive is equipped with a multi-turn absolute encoder offering 17-bit resolution and 65,536 revolutions. The servo drive can be mechanically coupled to numerous machine designs with its 58 mm F2-class flange. Smooth and stable motion results from its winding inductance of 0.92 mH at 1 kHz and a rotor inertia of 0.376 kg·cm². Under 48 V DC operation, the drive provides a nominal speed of 3,500 rpm. Its six magnetic poles enable highly precise rotation. The drive can be rated up to 157 W when operated at 24 V DC and 355 W when run at 48 V DC.
The AMI8123-3000-1J10 Servo Drive contributes to the AMI8100 Compact Integrated Servo Drive series. It delivers a thermal time constant of 16 minutes for optimized cooling. A winding resistance of 0.410 ohms at 20°C contributes to the drive’s maintained electrical stability during load operation. A maximum rpm of 12,000 makes the drive ideal for applications requiring fast operation. Precise voltage control is achieved through a 7.8 mV/min voltage constant.
