The AL2018-0001-0000 linear servo motor is manufactured by Beckhoff Automation that is known for PC based control and automation systems. The motor aims to deliver dynamic motion in high precision applications. This supports a smooth integration with automation systems and it works in different industrial uses which require a precise linear motion.
The AL2018-0001-0000 linear servo motor is made of anodized aluminum alloy, the strength of which is balanced with low weight and corrosion resistance. It is 200 mm in length, 80 mm in width, 60 mm in height, with a matte surface finish. It is a motor that weighs 1.2 kg has tensile strength of 310 MPa and yield strength of 275 MPa. The hardness is 95 HB and dimensional accuracy of ±0.05 mm. The part provides corrosion resistance and operates in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, and it is suitable for a wide range of environments. The AL2018-0001-0000 linear servomotor meets RoHS standards and is good for machinability for system integration. The AL2018-0001-0000 is technically a three phase synchronous type with a grooved laminated core and embedded copper windings. This construction results in good magnetic performance with low cogging for good force output.
The AL2018-0001-0000 linear servo motor provides convection cooling, engineered for peak force capability up to 1350 N in dynamic applications. Thermal overload protection is provided with integrated temperature sensors. It seamlessly plays along with Beckhoff’s AX5000 servo drive series, being capable of high speed and high precision movements. The pole pair spacing is 24 mm, which is compatible with AL21xx magnetic plates. The motor is equipped with either 1m cable (without connector) or 0.5m with pre assembled connector thus making installation easier.
