The AL2015-0001-0001 is a linear servomotor from Beckhoff Automation which specializes in PC-based control and automation solutions. This motor is part of the AL2000 series and designed for high-precision and dynamic positioning applications in various industrial settings.

The AL2015-0001-0001 servomotor is constructed of anodized aluminum alloy, and is 150mm x 80mm x 25mm and weighs 0.85kg. It has a peak force of 1125 N and a continuous force of 500 N with air cooling. The motor operates in the temperature range of -40°C to 120°C and the motor has high corrosion resistance. It has a bolt on mounting design so it is easy to install. Electrical specifications of the motor include a nominal voltage range of 100–480 VAC, winding types N and S, maximum speeds of 3.5 m/s and 7 m/s, respectively. The peak currents are 13.5 A (for N winding) and 32.7 A (for S winding) and the continuous currents are 4.46 A and 10.75 A. It has 112 N/A (N winding) and 46 N/A (S winding) force constants. The AL2015-0001-0001 servomotor is powered by M23 plug and thermal protection is taken care by Dsub plug. It has IP64 protection rating which means that it is dust and water ingress resistant. The motor is RoHS compliant with regard to environmental and safety features.

Mechanical wear and backlash are eliminated in the design of the AL2015-0001-0001 servomotor to provide stiff control behavior and precise positioning. Low cogging force and low thermal resistance combined with a high capacity utilization makes it smooth to operate. The motor is made of aluminum which makes it lightweight as well as tensile and yield strengths of 310 MPa and 275 MPa respectively.
