By combining processing, memory, and interface resources in a single housing, the module provides a compact controller for coordinated motion, sequencing, and data acquisition tasks in factory automation lines. Processing performance is supplied by a Celeron 650 MHz processor that completes a basic instruction in only 0.0034 µs, while cyclic activities can be triggered at minimum intervals of 200 µs.
