Product Description:

X20TB32 is an X20 series terminal block. It is designed for use with modules that requires 240 Volts AC wiring. A lever is available for simple wire release. Push-in technology allows tool-free wiring connections. Number of pins on the terminal block are 12. The typical required push-in force is 10 N. Only copper wires are allowed for use with the terminal block. Aluminum wires are not permitted by B&R. The recommended connection cross section depends on the wire type: 28 to 14 AWG is recommended for single wires, 24 to 14 AWG is recommended for fine-stranded wires, 24 to 16 AWG is recommended for wire with end sleeves, and up to 2 x 0.75 mm2 is recommended for double wire end sleeves. The require wire-stripping length can vary from 7 to 9 millimeters.

The nominal voltage rating is 240 Volts. The maximum voltage rating is 300 Volts AC. The permitted nominal current per contact is 10 Amps. Each contact has a resistance that does not exceed 5 megaohms. Certifications for the X20TB32 terminal block include ATEX, CE, DNV, UKCA and CE. Each terminal on the terminal block can be labeled. Plain text labeling is available as an option. The terminal block allows access for test probes. It can be ordered in special colors and with 240 Volts coding. Every terminal connection on the X20TB32 is unique and identifiable by numbers in plastic. Therefore, terminal assignments are clearly assigned in the planning stage without chance of a mix-up. Fine-stranded wires should be twisted in for maintenance of cable holding forces. Connected wires must protrude at the sleeve end. Length of the wire-end sleeve equals the wire stripping length.
