The X20TB32 is a terminal block module produced by B&R Automation for the X20 Fieldbus I/O Modules series. Within an I/O slice, it provides the removable wiring interface that links field conductors to active electronic modules, allowing quick swap-out of electronics without disturbing cabling. By separating signal conditioning from field termination, the block streamlines installation in distributed control cabinets and machine frames. This arrangement lets the field wiring remain in place when the electronic slice is replaced, which reduces disruption to adjacent channels and helps preserve orderly panel layouts.
This model uses a Push-in connection system, so stripped conductors can be inserted without tools, minimizing wiring time. Its overall pin count is 12, arranged as two rows with 6 contacts per row, and this layout supports compact grouping of sensor or actuator lines while keeping polarity clear. Each clamp accepts two ferrules up to 2x 0.75 mm², which suits typical control-voltage leads and allows daisy-chain looping of power.
