Product Description:

The X20TB12 is part of B&R Automation's range of terminal modules, designed to offer reliable and flexible connectivity in industrial automation systems. This module allows for easy wiring and organization of I/O channels in a compact setup. It is equipped with 12-pins to ensure that users can connect multiple I/O channels to the terminal. This unit offers a convenient push-in connection method that makes it possible to connect wires to the terminal by simply pushing them into place. Disconnection is equally straightforward with the terminal’s wire release mechanism that uses a lever. This design enhances convenience and efficiency, during maintenance or reconfiguration of the system.

To support different wiring and application requirements, this module offers a wide range of wire connection cross-sections. For single wires, it accommodates sizes from 0.08 to 2.50 mm² (28 to 14 AWG). Fine-stranded wires can range from 0.25 to 2.50 mm² (24 to 14 AWG), providing options for various industrial applications. With wire end sleeves, the terminal accepts sizes from 0.25 to 1.50 mm² (24 to 16 AWG), and it can also handle double wire end sleeves up to 2x 0.75 mm². The terminal offers the ability to label each terminal for easy identification of connections at a glance. This feature reduces the chance of wiring errors and allows for quicker troubleshooting.

The X20TB12 requires a typical push-in force of 10 N per contact, ensuring that connections are secure. This module is specifically designed for use with copper wires only (aluminum wires are not compatible). For optimal performance and reliable connections, each wire should be stripped to a length of 7 to 9 mm before insertion.
