B & R Automation X20SLX4110 is a Digital input module that is designed for precise control applications and is safe to use. It works with a nominal power of 24 VDC and has both input and output functions so it can be easily added to automation systems.
The X20SLX4110 module can handle a maximum of 200 mA of output current, with 50 mA going out on each channel. There is short-circuit protection built in that keeps the peak short-circuit current to 25 A for 15 µs and the constant short-circuit current to 100 mAeff. The standard output voltage is 24 VDC, and the supply protects against reverse polarity. The input must have a resistance of at least 7.33 kΩ and a current range of 2 mA to 3.28 mA. Between the channels and the bus, the module keeps the insulation voltage at 500 Veff. It can do hardware filtering for up to 150 µs and turn when low voltage is less than 5 VDC or high voltage is more than 15 VDC. When the outlets are turned off, the leakage current stays below 0.1 mA. The error-detecting time is less than 200 ms, which makes sure that it works reliably in industrial automation settings. The module has pulse outputs that work with a push-pull mode that makes data transmission reliable.
