Product Description:
X20SLX410 is a module for X20 PLCs. It is an openSAFETY manager that can work with ten SafeNODEs. It is designed for safety-related applications and supports SafeLOGIC. Two software, including SafeDESIGNER and Automation Studio can be used to program the module and manage parameters and its configuration. The module features four safe digital inputs and four pulse outputs. The software input filter for each channel is configurable via software. The X20SLX410 module coordiantes safety-related communication for all modules involved in application. Status indicators for I/O per channel, module status and operating mode are available. Module diagnostics are available from LEDs and via software. The maximum I/O cycle time is 1600 microseconds. The bus power consumption is 0.32 Watts and the internal I/O power consumption is 1.25 Watts.
Additional actuators consume 0.6 Watts. Channels are isolated from the main bus. However, channels are not isolated from other channels. Communication is only possible when the module is used with a SafeLOGIC controller. It supports SafeMOTION with maximum four SafeMOTION axes. The minimum task class cycle time is 2 milliseconds. Nominal voltage for I/O power supply is 24 Volts DC and the integrated reverse polarity protection is available. The digital inputs have 24 Volts DC nominal voltage. The hardware filter time is less than 150 microseconds. The input resistance is more than 7.33 kiloohms. The error detection time is 200 milliseconds. The maximum line length between signal source and the input is 60 meters with unshielded line and 400 meters with shielded line. The four pulse outputs of the push-full variety with 50 milliamps nominal output current. The IP20 rated module can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
