Product Description:
X20PS9400 is a power supply module for bus controller, internal I/O and X2X link. It is manufactured by B & R Automation for X20 PLC systems. The X2X link supply and the feed and bus controller are isolated electrically. Multiple supply modules can be used to provide redundancy for X2X link and the bus controller. The module has one RS-232 service interface. The X20PS9400 is used with a X20 bus controller. Four LED status indicators, for the RS-232 interface, module status, operating status, and overload, are available on the module. In addition to these LEDs, software can be used for module run/error diagnostics, overload diagnostics and RS-232 data transfer diagnostics. The X2X link power supply consumes 1.42 Watts. The internal I/O consumes 0.6 Watts.
Specifications for X2X link / bus controller supply input include 24 Volts DC input, 0.7 Amps input current, integrated fuse and reverse polarity protection. Specifications for the X2X link / bus controller supply output include 7 Watts nominal output power, support for parallel connections and redundant operation, short circuit protection and support for temporary overload. Specifications for the input I/O supply include 24 Volts DC input voltage and a requirement for a slow-blow line fuse rated for maximum 10 Amps. Specifications for the output I/O supply include 24 Volts DC nominal output voltage, 10 Amps permissible contact load and requirement for a line fuse for short circuit protection. The RS-232 service interface supports maximum 115.2 kbps transfer rate. The connection to this interface can be made via the X20TB12 12-pin terminal block. The X20PS9400 power supply module comes in an IP20 rated housing. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
