Product Description:

X20MM3332 is a motor module for X20 PLC systems. Up to three DC motors can be operated from it. Each output on the module is designed is a full-bridge output. Therefore, the motors can be moved in either direction. A circuit breaker or fuse should be used for power line protection. The continuous current rating of each channel is 3 Amps and the peak current rating of the output channel is 5 Amps. With an application, the integrated diagnostics facility provides the ability to read back the output current at each channel. In addition to motors, the unit can be used to control resistive loads and valves. It is especially well-suited to use with brushed DC motors. The module works with X20 PLC systems. It required 24 Volts DC power supply.

Required accessories include X20TB12 terminal blocks, X20BM11 bus module with 24 volts DC keyed power, and X20BM15 bus module with node number switch. Three LED indicator are available for module status, operating state and I/O function. The bus power consumption is 0.01 Watts. The internal I/O power consumption is 0.8 Watts. The internal I/O power consumption corresponds to the external load. Total nominal current for the module is 10 Amps. Therefore, the motors can be moved in either direction. A circuit breaker or fuse should be used for power line protection. The X20MM3332 supports output protection and implements thermal shutdown in the event of a short circuit or overcurrent. Reverse polarity protection for the power supply is not supported. Insulation between the bus and channel is 500 Volts effective. The X20MM3332 module can be mounted horizontally and its protection rating is IP20.
