The X20HB8815 industrial control hub belongs to B&R Automation's X20 series that is reknowned for its compactness and reliable industrial performance. The unit comes with a pre-designed electronic description of the electrical signals, functions, and mechanical dimensions whihc can be loaded directly to ECAD systems. This allows the wiring plans to be applied automatically by the configurations and programming setup i.e. Automation Studio. The hub comes with necessary instructions for installation to cater for increased vibration applications. The unit also carries a ground connector for added electronic protection during operation. The bus module not only offers a compact design but also offers all the options for a all rounded industrial experience.
The X20HB8815 comes with multiple useful interfaces like 2 x RJ45 shielded interfaces for powerlink and ethernet. The maximum allowable cable length is 100 m between any two stations for optimal operation. It offers amazing transfer rate of up to 100 Mbit/s for the powerlink and a 10/100 Mbit/s transfer rate for TCP/IP. The X20HB8815 consumes power of 2 W and it also has electronic isolation i.e. fieldbus supply. It has IP 20 protection rating which allows for rugged operations.
