Product Description:

The X20DO4623 is a part of B & R Automation's X20 series and is a digital output module that is built for top notch control systems. This module is provided with four solid-state relay (SSR) outputs which facilitate the switching and control of other external devices. It can work on a volt age of 100 to 240 VAC and the maximum voltage that it accepts is 264 VAC. According to the module it is designed to work at a frequency of 47 to 63 Hz.

The X20DO4623 comes with high surge current which is 7A for a pulse duration of 20 milliseconds while the continuous current is 2A for up to one second. This feature enhances the module to be suitable for applications with high inrush currents and or transient loads. The output current ratings per channel in the nominal form are 0. 5A with the total nominal current of 1A for all the four outputs as indicated in Table 2.

The module was implemented with zero-crossing switches to decrease electrical noise and enhance the switching precision. It also provides low leakage current with a maximum of 1.5 mA at 240 V and its residual voltage was 1.6V which assists in ensuring that the device is well functional and reliable. The switching delays are also minimized with the maximum delay of 11ms for transitions from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 0 at 50Hz and 9. These tests will take 3 milliseconds each at 60 Hz.

The module is connected to the 2-wire connection to simplify connection and also enable it to be easily integrated into other systems. Therefore, the X20DO4623 is an ideal device as it has high surge current, precise switching performance and high reliability, which is applicable in industrial automation and control systems.
