The X20DO4613 is a model from the X20 series of digital output modules by B & R Automation which is best suited for industrial applications. This module has four opto-triac outputs that are of the phase-angle control type for accurate control of power to external devices. It works within the voltage range of 48 to 240VAC and has a maximum voltage of 264VAC while being capable of delivering a maximum current of 80mA per channel with a total of 320mA across all the outputs.

The X20DO4613 is equipped with a strong isolation, which is confirmed by the tests on isolation voltage of 2300 VAC channel-to-bus and channel-to-channel, that is why it can work effectively in electrically noisy conditions. The module has zero-crossing detection to reduce the electrical noise and phase-angle control with the adjustable area range of 5-95% with 1% step providing precise control with the timing accuracy of less than 100 us.

It is connected to the module through 2-wire connections to enhance easy connections and at the same time easy to install. It is designed to work in different conditions having an operating range of temperature from -25 to 60? when placed horizontally and -25 to 50? when installed vertically. For the storage and transportation of the module, it can operate at a temperature of -40 to 85 degree centigrade. Also, this device is enclosed in an IP20 case, which means that it is protected from any accidental contact as well as from any object larger than 12mm in size.
