Product Description:

The X20DO2633 is a digital output module of X20 Series by B&R Automation to work with AC loads in automation applications. This module is compatible with a voltage range of 48 to 240 VAC, which allows the module to work in a vast number of industrial applications. It operates at 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequency making it suitable for use across the world. Another main parameter of the X20DO2633 is its ability to handle an output current up to 2A per channel with the total output current of 4A for the whole module. This makes it ideal to control medium to high power applications since it has a very high level of efficiency in this regard. Furthermore, the module also has a built-in snubber circuit to prevent the voltage surge.

The X20DO2633 has zero crossing detection which enables the module to turn on or off the load at the zero crossing of the ac Voltage. This feature reduces electrical noise and the wear and tear of the components especially when controlling inductive loads. The module also contains the phase angle control feature which is used in the regulation of power and control of ac load. Diagnostic capabilities are among the major strengths of X20DO2633. It has open circuit detection for each channel to enable the user to easily identify and solve a problem. Negative half waves are made use of in order to terminate the flow of current in circuits in undesired ways.

From the aspect of the connection, the module operates with 3-wire communication, which makes the installation process as effortless as possible. All functional states of the I/O functions as well as the operating and module status are indicated by the status indicators. Power consumption of X20DO2633 is low as the bus consumes only 0.6 W, thus making it power conscious when it is in use. Having a maximum voltage of 264VAC, the module has been designed to work in the harshest of industrial conditions.
