The X20CP1685 control equipment, belongs to the X20 series from B&R Automation, is a exquisitely designed controller that is capable to handle demanding industrial requirements. The unit can be deployed in diverse areas of use ranging from applications with cycle times in a few milliseconds range and extends to applications with the highest performance requirements. The plus point of the controller is its compactness that allows it to be implemented quickly to a variety of industrial environments without any additional attachments. The unit offers a dynamic performance spectrum and comes with standard interfaces and is also expandable with interface modules which extends user convenience during operations.
The X20CP1685 has a CompactFlash application memory that is removable and comes with 1 GB Flash memory. The unit has a strong hardware support as it comes with an Intel Atom 0.8 GHz processor that is supported with a 512 MB DDR4 RAM and 1 MB of SRAM. The unit offers a multitude of interfaces and slots for a diverse user experience like it has 2 USB interfaces, 1 RS232 interface, 10/100/1000Base T ethernet interface, with a supported Powerlink interface. The controller has a supply module included and comes with a terminal block TB 12.
