The X20CP0420 controller from the X20 series operates on an ARM Cortex-A9 processor with an integrated I/O processor. The processor is 166 MHz compatible and supports real time operations with a floating point unit (FPU). Two onboard USB 1.1/2.0 Type A ports each provide up to 0.2 A output current. It includes onboard Ethernet and a fieldbus interface via X2X Link master. The controller is fanless and extremely compact with no internal battery. A real time clock is integrated in this model that offers typical retention of 1000 hours at + 25 °C with 1 second resolution and - 18 to + 28 ppm accuracy. The B & R Automation CPU controller supports ACOPOS drives and Visual Components integration. Storage health monitoring is available although controller redundancy is not supported.
