X20CP0411 is am X20 Compact-S series controller. It is based on an ARM Cortex A9 processor clocked at 240 MHz with integrated I/O processor. The controller is equipped with 128 MB DDR3 SDRAM. Capacity of the onboard flash drive is 512 MB. The FRAM for storage of remanent variables has 16 kB capacity. Standard communication interfaces include Ethernet, RS-232 and USB. Optional communication interfaces include CAN and RS-485. The battery-free and fanless controller design enables maintenance-free operation. LED status indicators on the X20CP0411 provide information about Ethernet and CPU function. Temperature diagnostics are available via the software register. The X20CP0411 controller does not support redundant operation. Visual Components, storage health data and ACOPOS support is available. Power consumption of the controller module is 2.2 Watts. It is certified by CE, UKCA, ATEX, HazLoc, and more.
The onboard real-time clock is retained for minimum 300 hours and maximum 1000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius ambient. The clock resolution is 1 second and its accuracy at 25 degrees Celsius ambient is -18 to 28 ppm. Capacity of the L1 cache for data code and program code is 32 kB. The L2 Cache capacity is 512 kB. Specifications for the application memory include 512 MB eMMC flash wit 10 year data retention. The guaranteed writable data amount is 40 TB at 21.9 GB per day for 5 years. The guaranteed write/erase cycles are 20,000 and error-correcting codes are supported. The Ethernet interface supports 100 Mbps transfer rate with maximum 100 meters separation between two stations. The two USB Type A interfaces can provide up to 0.2 Amps current output. Ingress protection rating of the controller is IP20.
