The X20CP0292 technology X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules is a compact and efficient solution from B & R Automation which is known for delivering precise and reliable automation. It is designed for use in demanding industrial environments. This module features an onboard Ethernet interface for standard connectivity. It includes an RJ45 shielded port with a maximum line length of 100 meters.
The X20CP0292 technology X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules has a data transfer rate that reaches up to 100 Mbit/s for stable communication. The system module CPU is equipped with an embedded µP 25 processor. This processor ensures high-speed and efficient data handling. The integrated I/O processor operates input and output points in the background. This background processing optimizes overall system performance and response time. The X20CP0292 IO module supports a shortest task class cycle time of 2 milliseconds. It offers a typical instruction cycle time of 0.5 microseconds. A built-in real-time clock has a resolution of 1 second. The clock accuracy ranges from -18 to 28 ppm at a standard temperature of 25°C. A temperature sensor is present to monitor thermal changes continuously. The module includes CPU and Ethernet function indicators for a clear status display. The unit supports both horizontal and vertical mounting options. The temperature limits are -25 to 60°C for horizontal use and for vertical mounting it is -25 to 50°C.
