The X20cif1082-2 is a coated interface module equipped with a POWERLINK interface, which allows for real-time communication through the Ethernet Network. This module is particularly useful for application-specific expansion X-20 controllers. The POWERLINK interface on this unit features two RJ45 sockets, both of which lead to an integrated hub, which makes the daily chain connection possible at a lower installation cost.

The X20cIF1082-2 comes with LED interfaces that serve as status indicators for the bus function and the module status. The total amount of power consumed by this unit during operation is estimated to be about 4 kilowatts. Customers can install this unit in the vertical or horizontal position without problem. The housing of this module protects according to the IP20 protection category, which makes it necessary for the unit to be used inside and installed in an additional control cabinet.
