The B & R Automation X20cDM9324 module is a tiny member of the X20 Fieldbus Input Output (I/O) Modules family. It is just 24 mm (Twenty four millimeters) wide. It contains 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, all of which run on 24 VDC (Volts of DC). Outputs on the module are safe against short circuits. The X20cDM9324 is a coated X20 digital mixed module built for tough industrial use. It has eight (08) 24 VDC sinking inputs and an input filter that may be changed. The input filter makes it easy to manipulate signals in a flexible way. It also helps keep noise out.
The module also has four (04) 24 VDC source outputs, each of which can supply up to 0.5 A (Amperes). This makes it good for a range of control jobs.
