The X20cDI9371 is a tiny module for digital input. This module is tiny, yet it has 12 inputs. The input voltage range for all the inputs is between 24 VDC and 15% and 20%. This is one of the X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules made by B & R Automation. This module can function in temperatures from -25 to +60 °C and includes built-in input filtering. This input module has a protective covering on it to keep the outside elements out.
The coating also prevents rust from growing. The input filter comes set up, but it can be changed if needed. It can connect to electricity with only one wire. This digital input module has to be connected to various accessories, such as BUS modules and Terminal Blocks, in order to work. The X20cDI9371 may work with the following BUS modules: X20BM11, X20BM15, and X20cBM11. The input voltage test for all three is 24 VDC (Volts of Direct Current). The X20cDI9371 may be used with the X20TB12 terminal block. If there is a power loss that is undesired, the module must be brought to a safe halt condition.
