B&R Automation X20CCP1584 is a capable and flexible controller unit of X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules line-up.
In its essence, there is an Intel Celeron 1.6 GHz processor, which provides powerful computation capabilities of the machine with purposeful control tasks, and the memory is ensured with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM addressing the efficiency and multitasking's. The module also comes with 2 GB of internal memory, where the application can be stored, and further offer SD card slot to expand easily and handle the data in the manner you want. It has two USB 2.0 ports providing easy access to peripheral devices, firmware updates or sharing of information. The high-speed, reliable communication on the industrial networks is achieved through the two Ethernet ports that carry 10/100/1000 BASE-T network, and supports high-speed networking. The standard X20 system power supply makes the controller insert itself easily in existing X20 systems. It has been designed to meet the challenge of the tough conditions where it has reliable operation in a broad temperature band of -25 to +60 °C, and performs its tasks under a storage range of -40 to +70 °C.
The electronics are plated to provide extra protection against dust, moisture, and corrosive material, creating dependability and life. Its compact body with dimensions of 142 x 101 x 72 mm fits even the smallest control cabinet environments and its ability to operate with B&R Automation Runtime software provides ease in programming and configuration control. Other features are an RS232 serial interface to integrate legacy devices, on-board hardware watchdog timer to protect system operation, power on/off, CPU activity, and communication activity status LEDs to perform rapid diagnostics.
