Product Description:
The X20BC0043-10 is a high-performance CANopen bus controller that is specially developed for industrial automation systems, containing numerous functions aimed at increasing network stability and communication speed. This model can support up to 253 I/O nodes, allowing it to support large automation networks without a loss in efficiency.
The transmission capabilities are also flexible with the options of synchronous, event, and polling transmission. This flexibility makes it possible to arrange the bus controller in a way that best suits the given application depending on whether the application demands fast response or high bandwidth. The module can handle 32 receive (Rx) and 32 transmit (Tx) PDOs (Process Data Objects) that enable the transfer of data within the network. Some of the features include configurable I/O cycle times starting from 0. 5 to 4 ms, which enables the fine-tuning of the data transmission intervals depending on the operational conditions. Transfer rates are very flexible and may be set to auto-detect or manual depending on the network configuration and transfer needs. Other features that improve network management and security include the Heartbeat consumer/producer capabilities and an Emergency Producer feature that are crucial for system stability and quick action during network failures.
The controller also supports up to two SDO (Service Data Object) servers and operates as an NMT (Network Management) slave, which enhances its control and configuration functions.
