The X20AO2632 is a dual-channel analog output module produced by B&R Automation for the X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules series. Acting as a digital-to-analog interface, it installs on an X20 backplane to transmit precise voltage or current signals from a controller to field devices such as valve positioners or inverter drives in distributed automation systems. This allows the control platform to send stable analog reference values to external equipment during normal machine operation.

The converter uses a 16-bit delta-sigma stage, giving 65,536 discrete steps for each channel and allowing fine adjustment of process variables.
