Overall, a single housing replaces discrete cameras and PCs, which simplifies use in tight spaces and reduces extra cabling.
Computation is handled by a Cortex A9 i.MX6 dual-core processor clocked at 800 MHz. Its 2 cores support parallel preprocessing and decision logic, helping the sensor evaluate images without relying on an external industrial PC. System memory of 1 GB DDR3 accommodates firmware, lookup tables, and temporary image buffers, while an 512 kB L2 cache lowers memory access latency. Even with the standard preprocessing variant, this architecture sustains 165 fps so fast conveying operations can stay aligned with inspection results.
