Delivered in the integrated machine vision range, it combines imaging, illumination, and processing in a single housing for direct mounting on production lines. In automation, its role is to capture scenes, preprocess them inside the housing, and output logical results so controllers can make decisions about position, quality, or presence without an external PC.
The imaging core produces a 74° horizontal field of view when used with the factory lens, feeding a 3.5 MP monochrome or color image stream to internal memory. At a sustained 43 fps, scenes are digitized quickly enough for medium-speed pick-and-place or code-verification tasks. An ARM clock of 800 MHz works with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM so single-frame thresholding or blob analysis can run in real time. Only one active vision function can be deployed at a time, which keeps operation predictable. This model uses two processing cores, and both its preprocessing performance and variant option are standard.
