Its embedded computing section uses a Cortex A9 i.MX6 dual core processor running at 800 MHz, and that clock rate helps the sensor complete preprocessing steps such as edge detection and pattern matching with low latency. The two cores share 1 GB of RAM for frame buffering and temporary results during analysis. With a maximum image throughput of 165 fps, the unit can inspect fast moving parts while still reserving processing capacity for application logic.
