The sensor operates at 90 fps, helping it observe fast conveyors with less risk of missed events. A 6 mm focal length and F3.5 aperture balance field of view, brightness, and depth of field. Its IP65/IP67 housing resists dust, oil spray, and routine wash-down cleaning.
Inside the enclosure, a dual-core Cortex A9 runs at 800 MHz, providing processing capacity for the unit’s active vision function. Program code and job files are stored in 2 GB of non-volatile application memory, while RAM handles temporary image buffers during evaluation. The integrated driver can source up to 500 mA on the I/O line for external actuators. Illumination comes from 16 LEDs arranged in four multicolored segments.
