On-board 1 GB of DDR3 RAM stores frame buffers and preprocessing results generated by the standard-variant pipeline. The imager captures at 1.3 MP so that small defects can still be detected within the specified field of view, while a maximum rate of 90 fps maintains real-time responsiveness on fast indexing mechanisms. Standard preprocessing performance ensures that filtering, thresholding, and blob analysis are finished inside the cycle time dictated by upstream PLC logic.

The optical and lighting assembly rounds out the package. A fixed focal length of 8 mm pairs with an S-mount holder and yields a horizontal view angle of 37°, matching common working distances on conveyor systems. Illumination is provided by 16 LEDs arranged in four individually switchable segments; their white output spans the entire visible spectrum for uniform contrast on multicolored targets. An LED lens type 2 optic focuses this light, and the front window uses glass with an anti-reflective coating to maximize transmission. Because line-sensor suitability is not required, the compact housing remains optimized for area scanning while the standard variant flag indicates no additional heatsinking or expanded memory is necessary.
