In automated cells, it performs one vision task, such as code reading or part-presence verification, and sends results directly to the controller.

Its computing platform uses a Cortex A9 i.MX6 dual core processor. The two cores run at 800 MHz and share 512 kB L2 cache, which helps the unit process filtering and edge-detection routines with less delay.
