System memory includes 1 GB of DDR3 RAM so larger regions of interest can be buffered while algorithms run. The unit has no integrated LED lighting, so external illumination must be matched to the surface and contrast of the target. This layout gives flexibility when the same sensor platform is adapted to different working distances, fields of view, and object sizes. The available frame rate supports moderately fast part flow while keeping image evaluation inside the same housing. Lens selection and external lighting can therefore be tailored to reflective, dark, or finely detailed targets without changing the core sensor unit.
