In packaging, assembly, and quality inspection stations, it performs one active vision function and returns pass or fail or coordinate data to the machine network.
Processing is handled by a dual core Cortex A9 i.MX6 running at 800 MHz with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM. That hardware supports the standard preprocessing pipeline and can sustain up to 90 fps at native image size, which helps with high speed tracking and code reading.
