Classified in the Smart Camera product group and supplied within the integrated machine vision range, it merges imaging, illumination, and computation in one enclosure that mounts directly on the machine frame. The deep learning variant allows the unit to execute pattern recognition, code verification, and presence checking at the cell level, limiting data traffic to higher-level controllers during high-speed production cycles. This arrangement supports inspection points where space is limited and where sending full image streams upstream would add unnecessary network load.

At its core, a Cortex A9 i.MX6 quad core processor runs at 800 MHz, giving four symmetric threads for parallel vision pipelines. A 1 MB shared L2 cache reduces external memory accesses, while 2 GB of DDR memory holds multiple filter kernels and classification tables. Preprocessing is accelerated by an integrated inference accelerator, so the camera can execute several vision functions simultaneously without lowering the inspection rate. This internal architecture removes the need for separate controllers and simplifies deterministic response when the camera is networked over real-time fieldbus. Local execution also keeps inspection logic close to the sensor, helping the system return pass or fail results with low latency.

The optical section uses a 12 mm F4 2/3" lens; in combination with the sensor, it provides a field angle of 37°, favoring medium-distance positioning tasks. The lens is secured by the S-mount, and a front glass with anti-reflective coating preserves contrast under oily factory air. Capture resolution is 1.3 MP, and the imager streams at 165 fps, enabling freeze-frame inspection of rapid conveyor motion. A bank of 16 LEDs arranged as four multicolored segments works with LED lens type 2 to project R, G, UV, or B illumination without external light bars. Integrated lighting can reduce shadows from nearby hardware and helps keep image conditions consistent across product changes.
