The VSC523R34.061P-000 is a smart camera manufactured by B&R Automation for the VS Smart Sensors series. An embedded Cortex A9 i.MX6 quad-core processor clocks at 800 MHz. Its design gives the controller 4 cores and a 1 MB L2 cache for deterministic image preprocessing. A dedicated inference accelerator supports deep neural network workloads, and the device includes 2 GB of DDR3 RAM so it can execute several vision functions at the same time. Image data from the 1-inch sensor are captured at a native 3.5 MP resolution and streamed to memory at up to 43 fps, allowing temporal analysis such as object tracking or presence verification.
