The VSC123001.06BP-000 is a smart camera produced by B & R Automation for the VS Smart Sensors series. That arrangement supports on-device image analysis with short response times for inspection and identification tasks. Four physical cores handle image acquisition, preprocessing, and I/O in parallel. The imaging section records at 90 fps in full-frame mode with a native resolution of 1.3 MP. A factory-installed lens has a 16 mm focal length and threads directly into the compact S-mount. This optical path works with the anti-reflective front glass to improve contrast when external illumination is used. Because the camera is supplied without internal LEDs, lighting must be provided separately. The lens and mount arrangement keeps the optical assembly compact, and the camera is intended for area-scan applications rather than line-sensor operation.
