The VSC122R24.04BP-000 smart camera is manufactured by B&R Automation for the VS Smart Sensors series. It belongs to the smart camera product group within the integrated machine vision range. The unit captures images, processes them locally, and sends inspection results over real-time networks, allowing conveyors and robots to respond without relying on an external PC.
The optical system provides a field of view of 37° through a fixed 8 mm F4 lens in an S-mount. It delivers images at 43 fps with full 3.5 MP resolution, which supports clear inspection of moving parts while preserving image detail. Illumination is supplied by 16 LEDs arranged in four individually switchable segments, and plastic front glass with an anti-reflective coating helps reduce glare. Because line-sensor mode is not supported, the camera is intended for area-based analysis.
