Within the integrated machine vision product range, this unit combines optics, lighting, and processing so it can perform inspection, guidance, or identification directly on the machine without an external PC. Because these functions are built into one housing, the camera can return results directly to factory controllers for reliable automated quality checks while supporting several vision tasks at the same time.

The onboard Cortex A9 i.MX6 processor runs at 800 MHz, uses a 1 MB L2 cache, and has a quad-core architecture that helps maintain deterministic execution of multiple imaging threads. System memory is 2 GB of RAM, matching the standard preprocessing variant that filters, scales, and formats images before algorithm execution. This internal preprocessing prepares incoming frames before the vision tools analyze them, which helps maintain stable response time when more than one inspection task is active. A sensor interface delivers images at up to 165 fps, allowing high-speed part tracking on fast conveyors while shape, color, and code data are evaluated in parallel.

The imaging module provides 1.3 MP resolution through an 8 mm, F4 1/1.8-inch lens mounted on an S-mount thread, and the optical path subtends a 37° field of view suited to medium-range inspections. The lens uses anti-reflective glass to keep flare low during image capture and to preserve contrast on reflective or uneven surfaces. Illumination is integrated as 16 LEDs arranged in four multicolored segments, and the LED lens type 2 optic directs red, green, blue, or lime light onto the target. This lighting arrangement makes the device appropriate for web or strip materials where continuous image capture is required and where different surface conditions may need different illumination colors.
