The 2ME913.90-1 from B&R Automation is a high-performance hydraulic actuator and control assembly using the System 2010 Controllers line.

This unit is made of corrosion-resistant steel, which ensures reliable and strong performance to survive heavy-duty operations. It has a bore diameter of 90 mm, rod diameter of 50 mm and the length of change of 200 mm, delivering strong linear force to a wide variety of industrial machine actions. The actuator can withstand the maximum pressures up to 250 bar, and it is clevis-mounted, ensuring the safe and flexible installation. The piston rod is chrome plated to guarantee extended durability on the surface and to have a corrosion free environment whereas the cylinder tube is phosphate so as to offer further protection against environmentally hostile scenarios. The integrated seals are nitrile based having superior resistance to oils, fuels and temperature variations over a range of -20°C to +80°C.

This is an actuator with G 1/2" port connections and this size is standard and can be used in most hydraulic systems. It is interchangeable, compliant with different ISO 6020/2 regulations, also coming with a mass of about 12 kg and compatible with other intercontinental hydraulic systems. Included in the assembly is sophisticated controller memory which is appropriate in PLC application. The unit incorporates 512 KB of SRAM and 1 MB FlashPROM which is already equipped with PLC operating system. The SRAM is also supported by gold foil capacitor and lithium battery, thus providing long-term memory retention (at least two years) time even upon losing power.
