As a voltage acquisition card, it installs alongside CPU and output modules to translate field-level sensor signals into the controller’s internal digital bus. By sampling multiple channels at consistent accuracy, the unit supports closed-loop tasks such as temperature monitoring, position feedback, and energy metering across automated machinery. Because it reads changing analog levels rather than simple on or off states, it fits applications that depend on stable trends and proportional control.
The module accepts voltage signals on 16 independent channels, allowing multiple measurement points to be handled in one slot. Each channel offers 1 MΩ of differential resistance, minimizing load on high-impedance transducers, and the conversion engine delivers 12-bit resolution so that small changes in the input appear as one part in 4096 steps.
