Product Description:
The MP1345-1A operator workstation is produced by B&R Automation as part of the MP Operator Workstations series. It is intended for discrete manufacturing cells and process skids that need local visualization, basic sequence processing, and networked data transfer. A compact CPU board, monochrome electroluminescent display, and onboard I/O let one unit cover operator interaction and low-level supervisory control.
The workstation runs on a Motorola 68000 processor clocked at 12.5 MHz, supporting deterministic execution of OS-9 real-time tasks. Application code and graphics reside in 2 MByte DRAM, while 512 KByte of battery-backed SRAM preserves critical variables through power loss. Visual feedback appears on an EL panel with 640 by 400 pixel resolution, and sixteen gray levels keep alarm lists and parameter pages readable under harsh ambient lighting.
Additional hardware includes two 1 MByte FlashPROM sockets for program expansion and a 68881 math co-processor for floating-point calculations in trend plots or PID routines. The protected front panel is rated IP54, helping resist dust and splashing water in demanding environments. For communication, the unit provides an ARCNET backplane port plus 4 x RS232/TTY/RS485 serial channels. Local signaling is handled through 4 (24 VDC) digital inputs and two relay outputs rated 220 VAC.
Wake Industrial stocks this workstation and includes a 1-year warranty with every order. Same-day shipping can be arranged for time-critical replacements when downtime cannot wait. Quotations remain valid for 30 days, and the chat tool available on the website can be used for general questions about type codes or fault codes.
