The HCMC02-2HS is a compact plug in expansion module for industrial rack systems. It integrates seamlessly with PLC chassis using high density edge connectors. It is designed for DIN-rail or rack slot mounting and supports passive cooling. It includes dual DB9 female serial ports for RS-232 or RS-485 communication. This unit is built with a multilayer PCB and partial EMI shielding on the metal front panel. The LEDs on the panel provide clear status indications including RX, TX, EX, HO, BM and LL. The module is equipped with a rotary switch for NODE NO setting and a tactile RES switch for resets. The device operates on 5 V DC supplied directly through the backplane.
