The panel is made up of two important parts that function hand in hand, the panel and the link module. These panels have different display sizes and features for application-specific use.

The 5AP1120.0573-C04 is a panel of 5.7" display size with a single-touch screen, which is used in B&R's AP 1000 or PPC 2100. Its display type is a thin-film-transistor type that provides rich colors, detailed images, and bright graphics, while its panel resolution is 640 x 480 pixels. The touch screen is an AMT type that functions on analog resistive technology. This technology allows for easy integration and high precision accuracy due to high touch resolution and operates with any medium such as fingers, stylus, or gloved hand. This panel has an LED backlight and a 3mm fixed gasket. The half brightness time of its backlight is 50,000 hours.

According to EN 60529, the degree of protection of the front part of the 5AP1120.0573-C04 panel is IP 65, while the back is rated IP 20. Hence, the front part is completely protected against dust and low-pressure water jets from any angle. The back is protected against the intrusion of fingers or objects over 12 mm in diameter. The Autotex panel overlay protects it against damage from several chemicals for up to 24 hours. The frame is coated with naturally anodized aluminum which also protects against chemicals.
