B&R Automation manufactures the 8V1016.00-2 as a member of the 8V1 ACOPOS Servo Drives series. This compact AC servo drive conditions DC-link energy and delivers precisely modulated three-phase power to synchronous motors, providing speed, torque, and position control in automated assembly cells, conveyors, and packaging stations. Its compact housing and mass of 2.5 kg also support dense multi-axis cabinet layouts and help limit overall panel loading when several coordinated axes are mounted side by side.

The drive is rated for 0.7 kW of continuous mechanical output while drawing a typical installed load of 2.1 kVA from the supply.
