This model uses a self-cooling housing that conducts heat to the ambient air, so no external blower or liquid cooling circuit is required. The integrated encoder maintains signal integrity at frequencies of at least 100 kHz at -3 dB, allowing the drive to capture fine timing edges at high shaft speeds. Its angular accuracy of ±60 arcseconds limits cumulative error during multi-axis interpolation, while a resolution of 512 lines per mechanical revolution provides dense incremental pulses for velocity control. Position data is transmitted through the EnDat serial protocol, which simplifies cabling and supports electronic motor data storage. The sensor provides multi-turn absolute feedback, so it reports shaft position across several revolutions without relying on battery backup.
