The 8MSA5M.R0-V8011 is a three-phase synchronous motor from B&R Automation in the 8MS Three Phase Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for servo axes and coordinated motion stages, where it converts electrical input into precise mechanical rotation for packaging machines, material-handling lines, and general factory automation equipment. As a synchronous design, it responds to commanded current with controlled torque and speed, making it suitable for indexing, positioning, and synchronized conveyor tasks. Its compact frame and integrated position feedback support closed-loop control while helping conserve installation space.
The motor uses a self-cooling thermal concept that dissipates heat through the housing without an external blower.
