The 8MSA4X.R0-30 is a bolt-on synchronous motor component with a rack length of 1000 mm and a face width of 30 mm. Developed by B & R Automation as part of their 8MS Three Phase Synchronous Motors series, it is made from case-hardened steel and operates within -20°C to +100°C. Featuring a hardness of 50-55 HRC, it supports up to 18,000 N.

The 8MSA4X.R0-30 is a state-of-the-art three-phase synchronous servo motor built by B & R Automation. It's equipped with a compact metallic housing that is able to protect it from common industrial interference like dust, metal filings and water splashes. The motor is C-UR-US listed and authorized for use in North America, Asia, and Europe. The servo drive controller required for the monitoring and control of this motor unit should belong to the ACOPOS servo system, the mains input voltage on the servo drive is between 400 to about 480 volts. There are about 6 pole pairs on this motor; these pairs play an important role in the ability of the motor to produce high torques while maintaining relatively low operation speed. There is no fan integrated into this motor; it is a self-cooled device that conducts heat from the winding to its output shaft, where it is efficiently dissipated by conduction and radiation.
The 8MSA4X.R0-30> synchronous motor unit can be stored for future use; however, the environmental temperature surrounding it during this storage should be maintained between <<-20 to 60 degrees Celsius. The permissible relative humidity during storage can be as high as 90 per cent without water condensation. For operation without derating, installation height for this unit should be maintained below 1000 meters; however, the maximum possible installation height for the unit is about 2000 meters.
